Stop Rx Abuse

Each year we help warn others about the dangers of prescription drug abuse through our student video contest.

Any high school or middle school student in North Carolina can participate by creating a 30-second public service announcement video on teen prescription drug abuse and entering it for a chance to win prizes.

Watch videos that won last year's contest.

About the contest
This year's contest will run from March 2-April 15, 2015.  Winners will be announced in May.

The contest is open to all North Carolina students in grades 6 through 12.

Read the rules and fill out an application to enter the Stop Rx Abuse contest.

Attorney General Roy Cooper and the NC Department of Justice partnered with the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators, the North Carolina Parent Resource Center, and the Governor’s Institute on Substance Abuse to sponsor the contest.
